Developing Countries

ecoTruk is currently working on a number of Rural Sector Transport (RST) projects for the developing world. We are in the midst of initiating several projects in sub-Saharan Africa and are also considering a few other impoverished country settings.

Opportunities to participate on several levels are available:

  • Support of individual RST projects (time, talent or treasure)
  • Sponsoring “Bike Shop in a Box”
  • “Provide a Bicycle Scholarship” Program
  • Investing in “Bike Bank” micro-finance Programs
Domestic and European Marketplace

Availability of the ecoTruk within the US and European marketplace is expected by mid-2008.  We hope that developed country sales will help to fuel developing world projects.
